Cake Mix Cookies —Perfect EVERY Time
I swear, these turn out PERFECT every time! Soft, chewy, delicious!
My favorite cake mix to use is Devil’s Food, but Butter Yellow cake mix is awesome with pecans and chocolate chips. Really, the combination possibilities are endless! I keep thinking to try carrot cake mix with white chocolate chips and pecans. Or maybe German Chocolate with coconut, or, or...

1 (18.25 ounce) package cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened, or vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 cup chips of choice
*optional* 1/2 cup chopped nuts of choice

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, butter and eggs until smooth and well blended [it will be sticky and kinda tough to blend]. Mix in the chocolate chips.
  3. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. [ I use parchment paper]
  4. Bake for 10 minutes
Makes about 45 2.5 inch cookies

Why do I do this blog?

Well, because I like easy to make, flavorful dishes with a moderate fat count, and a wide variety of them. Providing the same for others is why Tierney Tavern is here.
If you're looking for something new and tasty to try for dinner, take a look around, and for goodness sake if you like something or even go so far as to make a dish I have posted here—Please leave a comment and let me know how you liked it or any suggestions you might have!
