Homemade Chili Seasoning


**This has been tweaked for those of us who enjoy medium zestiness.**

Ingredients:

2 tsp flour
1.5 TB chili powder
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Directions
In a bowl, stir together flour, chili powder, red pepper, onion, garlic, sugar, cumin, parsley, salt, basil and pepper. Store in an airtight container.

**3 TB is Equivalent to 1 package store bought seasoning**

  1. Hi Anne, I also live in Nashville area (Franklin) and as much as I would like to pretend I"m in Tuscany, it's not happening here. I'll pass this seasoning on to the chili maker of the family, my husband.
