Hershey's Chewy Chocolate Cookies

These are awesome for when, [ahem ladies], you *need* some seriously chocolatey goodness. And when, like right now, there is no chocolate to be found in the house. [Collective gasp!] Never fear! I am here to help. Check these babies out. Then, run, and go bake some for yourself. I demand it.

1 1/4 c. softened butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 c. Hershey cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
*optional* 1 cup chopped pecans
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. In separate bowl, mix thoroughly flour, cocoa, soda and salt. Add both mixtures together and mix thoroughly.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake 9 minutes - do not overbake. Cookies will really flatten when removed from oven. Cooled, they are thin and chewy chocolatey goodness.
Added bonus**Batter tastes like chocolate ice cream!!**

You can also roll these in a ball and coat with sugar before baking.

Why do I do this blog?

Well, because I like easy to make, flavorful dishes with a moderate fat count, and a wide variety of them. This blog is the perfect place to bring together all of my favorites for easy access to pull up to use when it's time to make dinner.
