Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 can (16 ounces) Kidney or Pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1.5 cups frozen corn kernels [or drained can of corn]
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 packets taco seasoning or 2 servings MY Taco Seasoning Recipe
- 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3/4 cup water
Serve with: Corn chips, sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
In a large skillet, cook beef/turkey and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the beans, corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, and water. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
