Savory Herb Roast Pork

1 garlic clove, minced [1/4 tsp garlic powder]
2 teaspoons dried marjoram
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon rubbed sage
1 (4 pound) boneless pork loin roast

Combine the seasonings; rub over roast— *rubbing a tad bit of olive oil over the roast first, helps seasonings to stick better*. [I just sprinkled mine, one at  time, over top of the roast without the oil]
Place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. 
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes per pound.
